Remedies - My Views - General Rule & Exceptions.
Let me put a full stop at least from my side on questions on remedies through this article.I will take ample help of Osho Rajneesh in making you understand this concept of remedies. Let's break this article on following points - Remedies/Gemstones. My views on remedies. Positive Thinking. Ego Boost. General Rule. Exception. Concept of Re-incarnation. Good Souls and Bad Souls. Destined Results. Conclusion So, let's start this journey :) -
Remedies/Gemstones
As an astrologer, I often see people asking for remedies or gemstones to solve life’s problems. I get it—no one wants a miserable life and everyone wants to try everything to improve their situation. But it becomes irritating when people become completely remedy-dependent, worshiping God only for fulfilling their desires.
There are countless remedies, from simple to extreme, and I know people who’ve spent millions on them.
My Views on Remedies
Personally, I find remedies a waste of time, money, and energy. It’s not just a belief—it’s my experience. I spent 3 years following every possible remedy and got no results. This very lack of results pushed me to learn astrology.
If remedies could truly change life, then astrology itself would be irrelevant—just do 9 remedies for 9 planets and life should be perfect, right? But life has challenges, and changes happen due to dasha and transits, not remedies. That’s my general rule—but there’s an interesting “Osho Exception,” which I’ll explain later.
Positive Thinking
If remedies help someone stay positive or face life constructively, I have no issue. For example, if parents feel better after a small worship for their child’s health, that’s fine. But positivity isn’t universal—different things work for different people. I may feel uplifted reading Osho; you may feel uplifted listening to a spiritual song.
Ego Boost
Usually, remedies serve ego, not real change. People worry about a planet’s bad dignity and rush to “fix” it, as if they can control it. Planets are God’s incarnations; God doesn’t have anger or vices. Some even believe that doing a remedy binds God to fulfill their desires—LOL! Remedies often just make people feel they’ve “overpowered” the planets.
General Rule
For me, remedies don’t work, and I don’t recommend any—except meditation. If someone wants to follow a remedy, that’s their choice.
Exception
Astrology itself offers the exception. If remedies exist, they’re also under planetary influence. Someone doing a remedy may simply be following the dasha or transit that makes them believe in it. Who am I to stop them? Another exception comes from Osho Rajneesh’s Geeta Darshan, which relates to reincarnation—Osho explains this better.
