About Me - saahas
This is the way I understand Astrology.
In today’s world, where “doing” has somehow become “being,” people often introduce themselves by their work. If I go by that idea, then yes — I currently work as a Ux researcher. And astrology is my passion, and it’s what shapes my curiosity and understanding of life. Work is just what I do; it is not my identity. I am still on the path of knowing myself, so I don’t think I am capable of writing a grand “About Me.”
My journey in Astrology began like many people’s — through daily, weekly, and monthly predictions. Growing up, my family believed in astrology and consulted astrologers often. I watched them going from one astrologer to another, seeking answers, remedies, gemstones — but none of it really helped. Naturally, that made me curious. I wanted to know why so many predictions missed, and whether astrology actually had depth beyond what we usually see.
About three years ago, I decided to study astrology seriously. Not because someone told me to, but because I wanted to understand it myself — beyond fear, beyond remedies, beyond blind beliefs. I read, researched, and observed charts. Slowly, I realized astrology is not magic, not a shortcut, and definitely not a vending machine of quick fixes. Like many beginners, I started with online resources, books, and conversations with people slightly more knowledgeable than me. Everything taught me something.
There came a moment in my life when I wanted answers about my own path, my purpose, and the phase I was going through. Astrology offered clarity when the outer world did not. Over time, I started consulting others — not as an expert, but as a fellow traveler sharing what I’ve learned.
One thing I decided early on is that I will never allow ego or false promises in my consultations. If someone asks me a question, I respond with honesty. I tell only what I see — no exaggeration, no sugarcoating, no scaring. If the chart shows something positive, I say it. If it shows challenges, I say that too, with the intention that the person is aware and prepared. My job is not to create illusions — good or bad. My job is to help people see clearly.
I do not believe in remedies or gemstones as solutions. Life changes because our karma unfolds through dashas and transits, not because we “fix” planets. God or planets do not need to be pleased; they need to be understood. Astrology works best from the middle path. If selling fear is wrong, then selling false hope is equally wrong. The truth is always in balance.
I follow Osho's teachings. They remind me that life is a balance — light and dark, joy and sorrow, ease and struggle. Astrology too works on polarity. Charts show both sides of life, and my role is to help people see that balance, not escape it.
With time, I realized that astrology is not just about predicting the future. It’s about understanding yourself, your tendencies, your karma, and your place in this vast universe. It’s about knowing what God expects from you at this point in your journey. And that’s how Astrology became Jyotish for me — Jyoti + Ish, the Light of God.
I’m still young, still learning, and still evolving. I balance my work as a Researcher with my love for astrology, and I’m sure many co‑travelers will join me on this journey toward clarity, honesty, and light.
